The most famous Moldavian grandmaster, FIDE executive director Victor Bologan gave a simultaneous exhibition for young chess players of Kazakhstan. The games were streamed using idChess.
Victor Bologan gave a simultaneous exhibition at St. Regis Hotel, where the World Chess Championship match was held, on April 15, 2023.
Grandmaster won 19 games and drew one. A young chess player Lyayan Batyrova (Astana) played a draw. Lyayan started playing chess at the age of 5 at the ChessStar Academy in Astana.
The 20-game simultaneous exhibition was streamed using idChess. People could watch it on screen or the live.idchess.com platform.
"It is a very handy technology. I didn’t even notice anything above the board until you reminded me that there was a broadcast,” Victor commented afterward. "There was no discomfort during the game, nothing distracted me from the board. Broadcasts are great because there are exhibitions of different levels: sometimes you get a lot of beautiful combinations, and you can share them later.
For example, I won a game against Anatoly Karpov in 1985, but the score sheet has been lost and I don't remember the whole game. And modern games are much easier to save using idChess. And it is also very usefulfor children."
