idChess and the Omani Chess Federation signed a Cooperation Memorandum
Tournaments in Oman will be broadcast using idChess.
In Oman, idChess was used for the first time at the 11th Oman Individual Chess Championship, held from January 24 to January 31, in different age categories. More than 120 chess players participated in the Open tournament, including 3 FIDE masters and 2 candidate masters. The games of the strongest category at the Open tournament were broadcast using idChess. You can watch the recording of the competition on the live.idchess.com platform.
Recently, from February 24 to March 2, the Muscat Classic Chess Championship was held in the capital of Oman. 115 chess players from 17 countries participated in the tournament. The game was broadcast using idChess and recordings are available at live.idchess.com.

The main goal of the Memorandum is to develop and popularize chess in Oman, providing coaches, chess schools, and organizations with a convenient way to broadcast tournaments, and chess players and fans with the opportunity to watch the competition in real time and analyze games in digitized recordings.
