From 1 to 16 September Zelenograd hosts the Russian Chess Championship among the deaf. idChess is the technological partner of the event – the games are broadcast on live.idchess.com.

36 men with the maximum rating of 2062 and 12 women with the maximum rating of 1844 take part in the championships.

The Russian Chess Federation of the Deaf and idChess signed a Cooperation Memorandum, the main goal of which is the mutual development of chess sport for deaf sportsmen too.

idChess has long been used to broadcast games of people with disabilities: for example, in Kyrgyzstan since 2022, tournaments for visually impaired players are broadcast on live.idchess.com.
