idChess – the technological partner of the Asian Schools Chess Championship in Kyrgyzstan
From June 30 to July 10 in Kyrgyzstan, on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, the Western Asian Chess Championship among children, boys and girls in the categories of the age of 6-18 was held. The idChess platform performed as the technological partner of the championship.
More than 280 chess players from Bangladesh, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Sri Lanka, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan took part in the competition.
2nd place: Uzbekistan – 10 medals (4-4-2), FIDE teams (Russia), India and Kyrgyzstan - 4 medals each.
2nd place: Kazakhstan – 11 medals (4-3-4), the Indian team – 6 medals (2-2-2).
At the spectacular awards ceremony, all chess players received their awards. The Kyrgyz Chess Union also noted partners and guests of the event. The president of the Kyrgyz Chess Union Babur Tolbaev gave prizes to the idChess team, the tournament's technological partner.
During the Championship, the VAR system in chess, based on idChess, was used for the first time. This was officially announced by the International Chess Federation and mentioned by the world's leading media.

Already at the first competition, there were quite many cases when the arbiters used the recordings made with VAR idChess to watch the video and make a decision”
