idChess and Serbian chess project Chess Stories have signed a partnership agreement

idChess and Chess Stories have signed a partnership agreement at the Chess Olympiad in Budapest.

The main goal of the partnership is to make chess and its digitization more popular and available in European countries. idChess and Chess Stories will extend the idChess innovative solutions, such as digitizing chess tournaments and using VAR for referees.

"Due to modern technological processes, chess is becoming a digital sport, with broadcasts and online access for fans around the world. We want to increase the number of such tournaments. This is what our partnership with idChess will be aimed at", said Jasna Sakotic, CEO of Chess Stories.

Serbia has a rich chess culture. Annually, more than 500 chess tournaments of different levels are held, in which both top players and young chess players participate. The Serbian team took fifth place in open section at the Chess Olympiad in Budapest.

On September 24, the Skorenovac Open was held in Serbia, where young chess players from all over the country played in 6 sections. On September 27, the Serbian chess clubs will present their participants to take part in the First Women League 2024.
