What's new in the updated "Play against the computer" mode in the idChess app?
- 14 new characters were added to each set of bots.
- Now you can play against the computer without an internet connection.
- It is now possible to castle by moving the king 2 squares towards the rook.
- Computer ratings now match the engine's strength.
- To find out which characters are best suited to your skill level, calibrate your rating. Play 5 calibration games against the computers of different ratings. The engine will determine your level accurately.
- After calibration, rating and practice game modes will be unlocked. Your rating will increase as you win the rating game against the computer. Earn 100 rating points to unlock the next character in each of the three sets.
