On November 23, the 37th Belgrade Trophy tournament has started in Serbia. 166 chess players from 22 chess federations are taking part in it, including China, Turkey, France, USA, Greece, Armenia and others.
The tournament is held as part of the Belgrade Open Chess Championship. The average rating of the participants is 1847. Among them are Grandmasters, International Masters, FIDE Masters and Candidate Masters.
In total, 9 rounds are planned with the time control of 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.
The tournament will last until December 1. Each round is broadcasted with the idChess technology for fans around the world.
