In this manual we will tell you how participants of a tournament can connect their idChess device to the broadcast.
How to broadcast your game at a tournament, even if there are not enough devices for broadcasting? Bring your own idChess to the tournament and join the broadcast!
1. To connect to the tournament broadcast, you must register or log in to the idChess mobile application and have an activated subscription.
2. On the bottom panel of the application, click the “Record” button and go to the “Tournament” section.
3. Turn on ‘Do Not Disturb mode’ on your phone.
4. Choose whether to record a video of your game with VAR.
5. There are two ways to connect to the tournament: via ID or QR code.
To connect using a QR code, click on the “Scan QRC” button.
In order to connect via the tournament ID, click on the “Connect” button. Going to the “Connecting to tournament” page, enter the data received from the organizer or the technical assistant:
1) Enter the tournament connection code (id);
2) Enter the board number;
3) Enter the password for connecting to the broadcast;
4) Enter the device name.
6. Place your phone in the holder with the camera facing the board. When the phone screen turns green, the board is successfully found.
7. So you can start recording the game, click “Start”.
All moves in your game will be digitized and a saved recording of your game will be available to you at any time in the application. Also, during the tournament, fans can watch your games in real time on the live.idchess.com platform or in the mobile application.
