Friflex LLC ("us", "we", “idChess” or "our") developer and copyright holder of the idChess mobile app (next -the "Service").


The policy was developed in compliance with the requirements US Law "On the Protection of Children's Personal Information on the Internet" (COPPA), the EU General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR) and other international acts on personal data (hereinafter - The Law on Personal Data) and defines the procedure for the collection, storage, transfer and other types of processing of personal data, as well as information about the requirements for the protection of personal data.


This Privacy Policy explains how we and some of the companies we work with collect, use, share and protect information in relation to our mobile services and any software provided on or in connection with idChess services (collectively, the “Service”), and your choices about the collection and use of your information.

By using our Service you understand and agree that we are providing a platform for you to process your content.

Our Policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service (“Users”).

The information constituting personal data is any information relating directly or indirectly to a specific or identifiable individual (subject of personal data).

All personal data processed by the Operator is confidential, strictly protected information in accordance with the legislation.


The idChess mobile app is designed for users of all ages, including children, but it does not show ads and other advertising content to users in its services.


  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT


    We collect the following types of information:

    Personal data, such as: email address (e-mail) or social media profile id of choice, used for registration in the Service; name, which is indicated when using the Service at will; data from the camera of the equipment used in the form of a record of a chess game, which includes a chess board, chess pieces and the process of moving pieces on the chess board in order to record the moves of the players in the chess game and the results of the game. Our Service does not record people's faces and bodies, as well as objects other than a chessboard and chess pieces.

    Information you provide us directly:

    User Content (e.g., photos and other materials) that you post through the Service. Communications between you and idChess. For example, we may send you Service-related emails (e.g., changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). Note that you may not opt out of Service-related e-mails.

    If necessary, you can withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data or change them by sending an email to the technical support service of the Service.

    Data from the camera:

    We receive information from your device's camera in the form of a recorded chess game, which is recorded and processed automatically. The service can only process information that contains a record of a chess game and films made by players. The camera can only record the process of the game, for this purpose the camera captures the chessboard and chess pieces, as well as the movement of pieces on the chessboard. This is necessary to recognize moves in a chess game, track the results of the game and save experience. The service processes the received data and presents them in the form of an image on which chess pieces and completed player moves are moving.


    Analytical information:

    We use third-party analytical tools that help us measure traffic and usage trends of the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Service, including actions performed when using the Service, add-ons and other information that helps us improve the Service. We collect and use this analytical information together with analytical information from other Users so that it cannot be reasonably used to identify any particular individual User.


    Cookies and similar technologies:

    When you visit the Service, we may use cookies and similar technologies like pixels, web beacons, and local storage to collect information about how you use idChess and provide features to you.


    Log file information:

    The log file information is automatically transmitted by your device every time you visit the app. It can also be provided when the app content is downloaded to your device.

    When you use our Service, our servers automatically record certain information in a log file, including the history of visits and purchases. We may also collect similar information from emails sent to our Users, which then help us track which emails are opened and which links recipients follow. This information allows you to create more accurate reports and improve the Service.


    Device identifiers:

    When you use a mobile device, such as a tablet or phone, to access our Service, we may access, collect, track, store on your device and/or remotely store one or more “device IDs". A device identifier is a small data file or similar data structure stored on or associated with your mobile device that uniquely identifies your mobile device. The device identifier can be data stored in connection with the hardware of the device, data stored in connection with the operating system of the device or other software, or data sent to the device using idChess. The device ID may provide us or a third-party partner with information about how you view and use the Service.


    Share content:

    You can share your content by sending a saved record of a chess game to your friends via third-party Services or links to the broadcast of a chess game. The service gives you the opportunity to independently send

    content in the form of a recorded chess game or its excerpt by link, GIF or PNG file to third-party resources. Users cannot exchange messages, links or other files, as well as share their content inside the Service.


  2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION


    In addition to some of the specific uses of information we describe in this Privacy Policy, we may use information that we receive to: improve, test, and monitor the effectiveness of our Service develop and test new products and features monitor metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns diagnose or fix technology problems automatically update the idChess application on your device.


    The processing of personal data is carried out by the Operator subject to obtaining the consent of the subject of personal data (hereinafter referred to as Consent), except in cases established by law when the processing of personal data can be carried out without such Consent.

    The subject of personal data decides on the provision of his personal data and gives Consent freely, of his own free will and in his own interest.

    Consent is given in any form that allows you to confirm the fact of its receipt and is valid for the entire period of use of personal data until its withdrawal / cancellation at the request of the subject.

    We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside of idChess (or the group of companies of which idChess is a part) without your consent, except for the Parties with whom we may share your information: in this Policy.

    Parties to whom we may share your information:

    We may share User Content and your information (including, but not limited to, information from cookies, log files, device IDs and usage data) with companies that are legally part of the same group of companies that idChess is part of, or that become part of this group (“Affiliates”). Partners may use this information to help provide, understand and improve the Service (including by providing analytics) and Partners' own services (including by providing you with a better and more relevant experience).


    Parties with whom you may choose to share your User Content:

    Any information or content that you voluntarily process with the Service, such as User Content, becomes available to the idChess anonymously.


    What happens in the event of a change of control:

    If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of idChess or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your information

    such as User Content and any other information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your User Content. The buyer or transferee will have to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.


    Responding to legal requests and preventing harm:

    We may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of the United States where we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards.   4. HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION


    Storage and Processing:

    Your information collected through the Service may be stored and processed in the United States, Russian Federation or any other country in which idChess, its Affiliates or Service Providers maintain facilities. idChess, its Affiliates, or Service Providers may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal information across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.

    By registering for and using the Service you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or to any other country in which idChess, its Affiliates or Service Providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.

    We use commercially reasonable safeguards to help keep the information collected through the Service secure and take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. However, idChess cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to idChess or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

    Please do your part to help us. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to emails between you and idChess, at all times. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes the social media services you connect to idChess make to their services. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization.


    Geolocation or location:

    We do not use, process or store geolocation or location of idChess users. This provides an additional guarantee of the security of using our mobile application and other Services.


  5. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY


    The idChess Privacy Policy details the purposes for which we collect data related to your child's profile or account. In fact, they help us to ensure the operation of idChess services, improve them, increase reliability and security, optimize services depending on your child's needs, monitor their performance and use, interact directly with your child on issues related to our services, as well as create new products.


    idChess cares about the safety and privacy of all its users, especially children. The service is designed for a wide audience and has no return restrictions on its use.

    idChess can also be used by children of all ages, as the Service does not display prohibited information or advertising content.

    The service is completely safe for use by children.


    By allowing a child access to your account, you also give your child permission to access all sections of the Service. Please remember that the Service is designed for a wide audience. Accordingly, as the legal guardian or representative of the school, you are responsible for determining whether any of the areas of service and/or Content are suitable for your child.

    We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Service, including the information or content contained within them.
